To those who said they already got Leg Survivor the legit way. I have to say I applaud that. Not dying for a couple of run is easy. Doing it for a long time is something else. #clap

ON topic : probably won't change too much. Maybe only on my main (mes) because I think it's the only one I kinda-want to have some kind of survivor on her. Ritualist (surv 1) might get his second rank tought.

Well, just made it to Survivor rank 1. If I can make it to rank 2, I'll turn in what books and quests I have and box the rest. I get 5 second lag spikes on a regular basis, so even boxing is going to be dicey.
The huge experience reward for Zinn's Task was really enticing. What hit you for 900 damage during those quests?

Now what if I played since early 06 and already spent like xxx money on skill caps? I must have had like only 10-15 skills left to cap to get legendary skill hunter after update -.-
Oh well, it's not like it's any hard to get it by VQing, so still a very welcome change... Only thing is that deaths from any form of PvP shouldn't count, farming zkeys will be much less profitable without my monk...

edit: oh well, bad habits die hard... almost made r2 via leftover quests, skill caps and VQ :'(. Hey! today's ZC is RA! Cheers!

I was doing good the first few days, but then I got back into my normal playstyle and started Leeroying everything. I suppose I'll be starting over again. Though I have another character that is at 700k so I'm not too worried about getting it on my main.

Well, I got rank 1 on "accident", -- that's to say that I wasn't really trying NOT to die until I noticed I had 150k experience already. I've done 2 FoW runs and a couple of vanquishes and I'm nearly at 500k now. It's very easy going

Edit: Vabbi can be a scary place to VQ, especially with the Elementals around

Got to 600k exp just by playing normally working towards VQ and rep titles then died in Warband of Brothers whilst helping a guildie out. Now I think I'll just fill a few Proph and EotN books to hand in all at the same time to save the pain of it happening again.

well i've been playing a little over 3 years, didn't even know survivor was a title until i saw my ranger had x amount of exp and shortly after i saw that I died. well i get that chance again, just reached rank 1 this morning and i'm doing 3 quests in the uw. Some may say there are faster ways of doing it, but for me this feels safest. I have spent a lot of time in the uw so i'm pretty comfortable there.

As the poster child for BUH, I'll go ahead and say there were several times that I would've been wiped Heroing Rragar's Menagerie HM. But when I used BUH it gave us enough time to kill the remaining enemies without a full party wipe.

Have a question, if you previously did survivor got to like Rank 1 or 2 and died. Can you still get the title again with that character?

I got to rank 1 since the update, and ended up overaggroing in Arachni's. I escaped, but then got Rit spiked by aloes trying to rez my team. At least I can now do the recent UW/DoA Zaishen Bounties without worrying about dying

I had one very first char left that i made at the start. All the others i deleted and made survivor. On all my lvl 20 pve chars i had survivor and now my first one who died 4k times has survivor^^ in very happy with the change in the title.
But now im thinking at all the chars i had to delete before. For example a male derv with black primefall/destroyer gloves/ded mini destroyer(and some other pets) and a destroyer scythe and that all in the name of the old survivor.

My first char that got survivor 2 days ago got it by doing vat. farming. Started the day after the update but that day the servers where terrible and lost survivor 2 times by not paying attention when i started and 3 times bij DC because a 007/040 or a 013... My guildies where doing it the same way and lost survivor at the same time as me with every DC. So Survivor was a guild thing we did^^

I got Survivor 1 on my mesmer pootling around in DoA trying out the 7 heroes on the first day of the update

Challenge missions look more fun with extra heroes, so will prolly continue to Legendary messing around in them.

Oh man Damian, that sucks!

Oh yeah! I had best get my farming hat on (not farming on my survivor - no no no). Have reached 250k (kinda slowed down once I reached R1) I'm getting about 40k a day, I'm in no huge rush to reach R3.

I'll just continue with all my pre-survivor characters like I always have. They don't die a lot at level 20 with all heroes unlocked and all primary skills, and a lot of PvE skills.
I'll avoid Polymock like the plague though.
Don't have a lot of time to play, so whether any of them will make it, remains to be seen.
